Lake Zurich police blotter for Feb. 7, 2013

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Lake Zurich, Hawthorn Woods and Kildeer police departments. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.
Lake Zurich
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
Ann M. Cohen, 57, 9206
Carol Lane, Spring Grove, was
arrested Jan. 25 on the 900
block of South Rand Road and
later charged with attempted
disorderly conduct. Police
reports state that Cohen filed a false police report regarding her vehicle being involved in a traffic crash. She was released on $1,500 personal recognizance bond and issued a Feb. 25 court date in Waukegan.
DAMAGE
Lake Zurich Police responded to two reports of criminal damage: On Feb. 28, they investigated a report that the side window of a vehicle was broken while parked on the 700 block of South Rand Road; on Jan. 30, they investigated a report that someone used a rock to break a window on the 200 block of Telser Road. Damage estimates were not provided.
BURLGARY
Police also responded to three reports of burglary to motor vehicles on Feb. 28: a parking sticker was removed from a car while it was parked on the 200 block of South Buesching Road, a purse was removed from a car while it was parked on the 700 block of South Rand Road, and a GPS unit was removed from a car while it was parked on the 600 block of North Rand Road. Total losses were estimated at $410.
