The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Lake Zurich, Hawthorn Woods and Kildeer police departments. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.
Lake Zurich
DRUGS
Michael M. Ramirez, 21, of 2831 W. Glen Flora Ave., No. 211, Waukegan, was arrested Saturday and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. He also was cited for operating an uninsured vehicle and speeding. Ramirez was taken into custody near the intersection of Church Street and Oakwood Road. He was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond and issued a March 1 court date in Mundelein.
Lyndsey B. Hudson, 18, of 53 Oak Hill Colony, No. 12, Fox Lake, was arrested Jan. 24 and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. She also was cited driving on a suspended driver’s license and operating an uninsured vehicle. Hudson was taken into custody on the 200 block of South Rand Road. She was released after posting $200 cash and issued a Feb. 11 court date in Waukegan.
THEFT
Molly E. Janschutz, 21, of 452 Grand Ave., Lake Zurich, was arrested Jan. 23 and charged with retail theft at 675 N. Rand Road. She was released on a $120 personal recognizance bond and issued a March 1 court date in Mundelein.
Jeffrey W. Kosatka, 47, was arrested Jan. 21 and charged with theft of services after he failed to pay a cab fare when he was driven to the 600 block of Lions Drive. Kosatka was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond and issued a Feb. 20 court date in Waukegan.
Hawthorn Woods
DUI
Brian D. Stone, 32, of 33386 N. Valley View Drive, Round Lake, was arrested Jan. 16 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and possession of drug paraphernalia. He also was cited for driving without proof of insurance, driving on an expired registration and illegal lane use. Stone was taken into custody near the intersection of North Fairfield and West Ivanhoe roads. He was released on a personal recognizance bond and was issued a Feb. 13 court date in Waukegan.
