Lake Zurich, Hawthorn Woods and Kildeer police blotter for Jan. 17, 2013

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Lake Zurich, Hawthorn Woods and Kildeer police departments. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.
Lake Zurich
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
Steven G. Ward, 44, of 3201 Highway 62 West, Mount Vernon, Ind., was arrested Jan. 5 and charged with disorderly conduct. Ward was taken into custody on the 200 block of South Buesching Road. Ward was released after posting bond and issued a Feb. 1 court date in Mundelein.
DRUGS
Paul S. Blase, 20, of 51 Lynn Drive, Hawthorn Woods, was arrested Jan. 4 and charged with possession of marijuana and disorderly conduct. Blase was taken into custody on the 200 block of Linden Road. He was released on a $120 personal recognizance bond and issued a Feb. 1 court date in Mundelein.
WARRANT
Christian A. Vazquez-Perez, 18, of 623 Oakwood Drive, Round Lake Beach, was arrested Jan. 9 on a warrant issued for failure-to-appear charges. Vazquez-Perez was taken into custody on the 400 block of Telser Road. Vazquez-Perez was transferred to the Lake County Sherriff’s Department to await a bond hearing.
Terry L. Neally, Jr., 42, 509 Newberry Drive, Island Lake, was arrested Jan. 3 on a warrant issued for traffic related offenses. Neally was taken into custody on the 400 block of North Rand Road. Neally was released after posting $500, 10 percent of bond, and issued a new court date.
DAMAGE
Lake Zurich Police responded to two reports of criminal damage to property Jan. 3 and two others on Friday. On Jan. 3, one vehicle’s window was damaged while it was parked on the 100 block of South Pleasant Road, and the other vehicle’s window was damaged while it was parked on the 1100 block of Country Club Road. On Friday, a vehicle’s window was damaged while it was parked on the 800 block of Interlaken Drive, and another vehicle’s windshield wipers and side mirrors were damaged while it was parked on the 1000 block of Heather Lane. Total damage was estimated at $1,350.
BURGLARY
Officers responded to two reports of burglary last week, the first Jan. 9 and the other on Friday. A handicap placard was taken from a vehicle while it was parked on the 600 block of South Rand Road and a wheel was removed from a vehicle while it was parked on the 100 block of Golfview Road. Total loss was estimated at $1,580.
THEFT
Police responded to two reports of theft Friday, the first where hubcaps were taken from a vehicle while it was parked on the 200 block of Alpine Drive, and another in which a heated rear view mirror was taken from a vehicle while it was parked on the 100 block of North Avenue. Total losses were estimated at $250.
