The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Lake Zurich, Hawthorn Woods and Kildeer police departments. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.
Lake Zurich
DUI
Jason S. Miller, 35, of 12425 233rd Ave., Trevor, Wisc., was arrested Jan. 1 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He also was cited for following too close, operating an uninsured vehicle and illegal lane use. Miller was taken into custody near the intersection of Route 12 and Golfview Road. He was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond and issued a Feb. 14 court date in Waukegan.
DRUGS
Cyntia Medrano, 18, 109 Pine Tree Row, Lake Zurich, was arrested Jan. 1 and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Medrano also was cited for operating an uninsured vehicle and speeding. Medrano was taken into custody near the intersection of North Old Rand Road and Pine Tree Row. She was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond and issued a Feb. 24 court date in Waukegan.
TRAFFIC
Julio A. Granillo Cervantes, 22, of 310 Delaware St., Carpentersville, was arrested Dec. 31 and charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license and operating an uninsured vehicle. Granillo Cervantes was taken into custody near the intersection of Route 12 and Golfview Road. He was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond and issued a Feb. 14 court date in Waukegan.
BURGLARY
Lake Zurich Police responded to a report of burglary Dec. 27 in which money and prescription medicine were removed from the residence on the 200 block of Whitney Road. Loss was estimated at $100.
Hawthorn Woods
TRAFFIC
Martha Herrera, 31, of 350 S. Main St., Wauconda, was arrested Jan. 2 and charged with driving without a valid driver’s license, driving without proof of insurance and speeding. Herrera was taken into custody near the intersection of West Old McHenry Road and North Abbey Glen Drive. She was released on a personal recognizance bond and issued a Feb. 28 court date in Mundelein.
Francisco Haro-Mayorga, 29, of 6220 S. Whipple St., Chicago, was arrested Dec. 28 and charged with driving without a valid driver’s license and an equipment violation. Haro-Mayorga was taken into custody near the intersection of North Midlothian and West Gilmer roads. He was released on a personal recognizance bond and issued a Jan. 24 court date in Mundelein.
POSSESSION
David Flores, 27, 114 N. Victory St., Waukegan, was arrested Dec. 29 and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He also was cited for driving on an expired registration and illegal use of registration. Flores was taken into custody on the 25000 block of North Midlothian Road. He was issued tickets on local ordinance violations.
Kildeer
TRAFFIC
Wilma Torres, 31, of 63 LeJardin Court, Buffalo Grove, was arrested Jan. 3 and charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license, driving on an expired registration and speeding. Torres was taken into custody near the intersection of Long Grove Road and Middleton Drive. She was released on a personal recognizance bond and issued a Feb. 23 court date in Mundelein.
Florez Jose Lidoin-Sanchez, 23, of 20177 Route 22, Kildeer, was arrested Dec. 29 and charged with driving without a valid driver’s license and speeding. Lidoin-Sanchez was taken into custody on the 20000 block of Main Street. He was released on $150 cash, 10 percent of bond, and issued a Jan. 24 court date in Mundelein.
FRAUD
Kildeer Police responded to a report of fraud Dec. 31 in which a suspect attempted to switch a UPC code and purchase the item.
