Lake Zurich, Hawthorn Woods and Kildeer police blotter for Dec. 13, 2012

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Lake Zurich, Hawthorn Woods and Kildeer police departments. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

Lake Zurich

THEFT

Raymond J. Tousignant, 47, of 62 Burr Oak Drive, Crystal Lake, was arrested Friday and charged with retail theft. The police report states that Tousignant took $189.50 worth of merchandise without paying at a business on the 600 block of North Rand Road. He was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond and issued a Dec. 21 court date in Waukegan.

Donna M. Parotto, 60, of 2601 Village Hall Drive, No. 235, Lake in the Hills, was arrested Dec. 5 and charged with retail theft. The police report states that Parotto took $179.98 worth of merchandise from a business on the 600 block of North Rand Road. She was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond and issued a Dec. 21 court date in Waukegan.

DUI

Melanie Flood, 57, of 209 Kelsey Road, Barrington, was arrested Dec. 6 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. She also was cited for illegal lane use after she was taken into custody near the intersection of Route 12 and Clover Hill Road. She was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond and issued a Jan. 7 court date in Waukegan.

Kaitlin J. V. Pattison, 18, of 463 Old Barn Road, Lake Barrington, was arrested Dec. 6 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood-alcohol content of .08 or more. She also was cited for illegal lane use after she was taken into custody near the intersection of Route 12 and North Old Rand Road. She was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond and issued a Jan. 7 court date in Waukegan.

Hawthorn Woods

DUI

Douglas T. Brown, 23, of 477 E. Lake Shore Drive, North Barrington, was arrested Dec. 4 and charged with driving under the influence of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. He also was cited for illegal lane use after he was taken into custody near the intersection of Old McHenry Court and North Milton Road in Lake Zurich. He was released on a personal recognizance bond and issued a Jan. 9 court date in Waukegan.
