Lake Zurich and Hawthown Woods police blotter for Sept. 10 - Sept. 17, 2012

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Lake Zurich, Hawthorn Woods and Kildeer police departments. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

Lake Zurich

TRAFFIC

Fidel Miranda-Martinez, 45, of 1456 E. Ports O’ Call, Palatine, was arrested Saturday and charged with driving without a valid driver’s license. Miranda-Martinez was taken into custody near the intersection of Route 12 and Wooded Ridge Drive. Miranda-Martinez was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond and issued an Oct. 5 court date in Mundelein.

Marlene Ibarra, 19, of 3406 Greenleaf Ave., Island Lake, was arrested Saturday and charged with driving without a valid driver’s license and illegal lane use. Ibarra was taken into custody near the intersection of Route 12 and North Old Rand Road. Ibarra was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond and issued an Oct. 5 court date in Mundelein.

Lisa G. Anderson, 43, of 239 E. Grand Ave., Fox Lake, was arrested Friday and charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license, operating an uninsured vehicle and illegal passing on the shoulder. Anderson was taken into custody near the intersection of Cuba Road and Lexington Lane. She was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond and issued a Nov. 2 court date in Mundelein.

DUI

Jane M. Pupa, 54, of 975 Holly Circle, Lake Zurich, was arrested Saturday and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood-alcohol content of .08 or more. Pupa was taken into custody on the 900 block of South Rand Road. She was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond and issued an Oct. 15 court date in Waukegan.

Ericelo Paredes, 41, of 2255 N. Keystone Ave., Chicago, was arrested Saturday and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood-alcohol content of .08 or more. Paredes also was cited for operating an uninsured vehicle, driving on a revoked driver’s license and illegal lane use. Paredes was taken into custody near the intersection of Route 12 and Timber Lake Drive. Paredes remained in custody to await a bond hearing.

Shawn A. Delorey, 55, of 807 Buckingham Court, Danville, Calif., was arrested Sept. 13 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood-alcohol content of .08 or more. He also was cited for illegal lane use. Delorey was taken into custody near the intersection of Route 12 and Cuba Road. Delorey was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond and issued an Oct. 1 court date in Waukegan.

CRIMINAL TRESPASSING

Jovan R. Stubbs, 32, of 6558 S. Campbell Ave., Chicago, was arrested Friday and charged with criminal trespass to property. Stubbs was taken into custody on the 200 block of South Buesching Road. Stubbs was held at the Lake Zurich Police Department when he was unable to post bond.

SOLICITING

Michael D. Carruthers, 31, of 1427 Lambert St., Memphis, Tenn., was arrested Sept. 13 and charged with soliciting without a permit on the 600 block of Lions Drive. He was released on a $120 personal recognizance bond and issued an Oct. 5 court date in Mundelein.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

Windows of a business were smashed Sept. 12 on the 900 block of Glencoe Terrace. Damage estimates were not provided.

THEFT

A lock was removed from a trailer Sept. 10 while it was parked on the 800 block of South Rand Road. Loss estimates were not provided.

Hawthorn Woods

DUI

Gerlene Wescott, 70, of 30 Copperfield Drive, Hawthorn Woods, was arrested Sept. 11 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood-alcohol content of .08 or more. Wescott also was cited for driving with an open container of alcohol and illegal lane use. Wescott was taken into custody near the intersection of Mulberry Drive and Old Lake Road. She was released on a personal recognizance bond and issued an Oct. 24 court date in Waukegan.

Kildeer
