The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Lake Zurich, Hawthorn Woods and Kildeer police departments. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.
Lake Zurich
TRAFFIC
Micaela Cardoso, 44, of 6B Dundee Quarter, No. 204, Palatine, was charged Sunday with driving without a valid driver’s license. Cardoso was taken into custody near the intersection of Route 12 and Wooded Ridge Drive. Cardoso was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond and issued a Feb. 17 court date in Mundelein.
DUI
Gloria J. Donavon, 62, 613 Pamela Court, Wauconda, was charged Sunday with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood-alcohol content of .08 percent or more, failing to yield to an emergency vehicle, improper lane use and speeding. Donavon was taken into custody near the intersection of Route 12 and Rugby Road. She was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond and issued a Feb. 27 court date in Waukegan.
Dmitriy V. Bushmakin, 34, 324 Linden Road, was charged Saturday with DUI-alcohol, disobeying a traffic signal, operating an uninsured vehicle and failing to yield while making a left turn. Bushmakin was taken into custody near the intersection of Ravinia Terrace and Fairway Road. Bushmakin was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond and issued a Feb. 6 court date in Waukegan.
Brett D. Wilson, 26, 28 S. Wynstone Drive, Barrington, was charged Jan. 12 with DUI-alcohol, driving on an expired registration and improper lane use. Wilson was taken into custody near the intersection of Route 12 and Golfview Road. Wilson was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond and issued a Feb. 27 court date in Waukegan.
Jaime Rodriguez, 21, 108 N. Shaddle Ave., Mundelein, was charged Jan. 11 with DUI-alcohol, unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Rodriguez was taken into custody near the intersection of Route 22 and East Main Street. Rodriguez was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond and issued a Feb. 6 court date in Waukegan.
THEFT
A complainant reported Jan. 12 that unknown subject(s) removed two electric fuel pumps from his property on the 100 block of North Buesching Road. Loss is estimated at $1,000.
A complainant reported Jan. 11 that unknown subject(s) stole her purse while she was on the 600 block of South Rand Road. Loss is estimated at $300.
Hawthorn Woods
TRAFFIC
Brian E. Martin, 47, 419 N. Lake Shore Drive, Mundelein, was charged Jan. 9 with driving on a suspended driver’s license, driving without proof of insurance and driving on an expired registration. Martin was taken into custody near the intersection of North Gilmer Road and Hawley Street. He was released on personal recognizance bond and jailed for a warrant issued outside of the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.
Adrian Gonzalez, 20, 1933 N. Green Lane, Palatine, was charged Jan. 7 with driving on a suspended registration, driving without proof of insurance and driving without a valid CDL. Gonzalez was taken into custody near the intersection of North Fairfield and West Milton roads. Gonzalez was released on a personal recognizance bond and issued a Feb. 10 court date in Mundelein.
DUI
Jacek R. Koziol, 42, 450 Main St., No. 401, Wauconda, was charged Jan. 8 with DUI-alcohol, driving without proof of insurance, improper display of registration, failing to yield to an emergency vehicle and speeding. Koziol was taken into custody near the intersection of North Rand and North Old McHenry roads. Koziol was released on a personal recognizance bond and issued a March 14 court date in Waukegan.
Victoria F. Silva, 30, 2400 Matthew Place, Zion, was charged Jan. 6 with DUI-alcohol, driving on a suspended driver’s license, driving without proof of insurance and speeding. Silva was taken into custody near the intersection of March Street and Danvera Lane in Lake Zurich. Silva was released on a personal recognizance bond and issued a Feb. 8 court date in Waukegan.
Kildeer
TRAFFIC
Daniel Ortiz, 38, 337 Grissom Court, Hoffman Estates, was charged Jan. 11 with driving on a suspended driver’s license, driving without proof of insurance and speeding. Ortiz was taken into custody near the intersection of Quentin and Rand roads. He was released on a personal recognizance bond and issued a Feb. 15 court date in Mundelein.
Daniel Mendoza, 37, 860 E. Carriage Lane, Palatine, was charged Jan. 9 with driving without a valid driver’s license and disobeying a traffic control device. Mendoza was taken into custody on the 21000 block of Long Grove Road in Deer Park. He was released on a personal recognizance bond and issued a Feb. 15 court date in Mundelein.
THEFT
A complainant reported Jan. 11 that unknown subject(s) took her cell phone at Bed, Bath, & Beyond, 20505 Rand Road. Loss is estimated at $700.
FRAUD
A complainant reported Jan. 9 that unknown subject(s) used his credit card fraudulently. Loss is estimated at $1,316.
POSSESSION
Adam J. Hebein, 19, 142 Cady Drive, Palatine, was charged Jan. 7 with possession of alcohol by a minor, consumption of alcohol by a minor and speeding. Hebein was taken into custody near the intersection of North Quentin and White Pine Roads. He was released on a personal recognizance bond and issued a Feb. 15 court date in Mundelein.
