Lincoln State Cat Club Show

Presented 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Feb. 16-17 in Building M at Harper College, 1200 W. Algonquin Road, Arlington Heights. Show attendees can pose for photos with cartoon cat Garfield, learn about several cat rescue organizations, adopt a shelter or pedigreed cat, and meet the breeds at the Breed Booths. Spectators can also visit vendor booths, learn about cat health and grooming, and participate in a household pet Fun Match. Hundreds of objects and documents from the private collection of Highland Park resident Michael A. Weinberg, together with a rare collection of first editions of Dickens’ most famous works, tell the story of how Charles Dickens and his characters became enduring cultural icons.
