1. Sanfilippo Foundation 2012 Summer Concert Series features Ron Rhode on the Wurlitzer organ on July 21 at the Sanfilippo Estate in Barrington Hills. Doors to the Place de la Musique open at 6:30 p.m. and guests may enjoy the Sanfilippo Collection of antique music machines and phonographs before the 8 p.m. concert. 2. “Star Trek: The Next Generation 25th Anniversary Event” will be shown at 7 p.m. July 23 at local movie theaters, including Century 16 Deer Park, 21600 W. Field Parkway, Deer Park, and Lincolnshire 21, 300 Parkway Drive, Lincolnshire. The presentation includes interviews with the original cast members and behind-the-scenes looks at the artists who created the original FX elements and photography during the making of the show.
