The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Lake Zurich, Hawthorn Woods and Kildeer police departments. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.
Lake Zurich
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
Daniel L. McGuiness, 24, of 721 Deerchase Road, Lake Zurich, was charged Nov. 27 with disorderly conduct. He also was cited for illegal lane use after he was taken into custody near the intersection of Buesching Road and Route 22. He was released on a $120 personal recognizance bond and issued a Jan. 4 court date in Mundelein.
DUI
Manuel Hernandez, 50, of 1 Summit Terrace, Lake Zurich, was arrested Nov. 26 and charged with aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol and illegal transportation of an alcoholic beverage. He also was cited for failing to signal when required after he was taken into custody near the intersection of Golfview and Pin Tree roads. He was held at the Lake Zurich Police Department to await a bond hearing.
Brooklynne R. Pelligrini, 18, of 805 Burr Oak Drive, Lake Zurich, was arrested Nov. 24 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood-alcohol content of .08 or more and possession of less than 2.5 grams of marijuan. Pelligrini also was cited for using a computer device while driving, driving with driver’s license not on person and illegal lane use. Pelligrini was taken into custody near the intersection of Route 12 and Winnetka Terrace. Pellegrini was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond and issued a Dec. 17 court date in Waukegan.
