Lake Zurich, Hawthorn Woods and Kildeer police blotter for Oct. 30 - Nov. 5, 2012

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Lake Zurich, Hawthorn Woods and Kildeer police departments. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

Lake Zurich

DRUG PARAPHERNALIA

Gregg A. Gotsis, 20, of 10 Newgate Court, Lake Zurich, was arrested Friday and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. He also received citations for disorderly conduct and operating a vehicle with an expired registration. Gotsis was taken into custody after drug paraphernalia was found inside his vehicle, the police report states. Gotsis was released on a $120 personal recognizance bond and issued a Dec. 7 court date in Mundelein.

Marcus W. Winings, 20, of 25287 N. Barsumian Drive, Tower Lakes, was arrested Nov. 1 and charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and underage possession of alcohol. He also was cited for operating an uninsured vehicle and operating a vehicle without valid registration. Winings was taken into custody near the intersection of Route 22 and Ela Road. He was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond and issued a Dec. 3 court date in Waukegan.

BATTERY

Wanda Barcroft, 63, of 23340 N. Old Barrington Road, North Barrington, was arrested Nov. 1 and charged with battery. The police report states that Barcroft pushed another customer into a display rack following an argument. Barcroft was taken into custody on the 500 block of South Rand Road. She was released on a $120 personal recognizance bond and issued a Dec. 7 court date in Mundelein.

TRAFFIC

Guy E. Malinowski, 54, of 22815 31st St., Bristol, Wisc., was arrested Oct. 31 and charged with driving on a revoked driver’s license. Malinowski was taken into custody near the intersection of Telser and Ensell roads. He was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond and issued a Dec. 7 court date in Mundelein.

WARRANT

Sims E. Goodman, 44, of 10851 Montfair Blvd., No. 903, Woodland, Texas, was arrested Oct. 31 on a warrant issued for probation violation issued by Cuyahoga County in Ohio. Goodman was charged with being a fugitive from justice and remained in custody pending a bond hearing.
