Ela library holds book launch party

Celebrate the arrival of Madeleine’s Light, a new children’s book by Ela Area Public Library children’s librarian Natalie Ziarnik at 6:30 p.m. July 10. Children of all ages are invited to join the library for Madeleine cookies, free Culver’s custard sundaes, sculpture demonstrations, crafts and readings and signing by the author.

Madeleine’s Light is a fictional story about the talented sculptor Camille Claudel and a young girl who inspired Claudel to take her art in a new direction. It is Ziarnik’s first children’s book.
