Ela Library hosting video contest for teens

Teens in grades eight-12 are encouraged to use Ela Area Public Library’s new Digital Media Lab to create a video showing their love for Ela Area Public Library, 275 Mohawk Trail.
The library’s second annual I Love My Library YouTube Video Contest runs through Feb. 20. To enter, submit a five-minute video reflecting how and why you love Ela Area Public Library for your chance to win a digital camera.
Videos must be your own work and can’t contain anything inappropriate. Upload your videos to YouTube with the tag ihearteapl2012. Videos are judged on quality and creativity.
The videos will be shown and the winners announced at an awards reception at 6 p.m. Feb. 29. The contest is open to Ela cardholders or District 95 students only. For more information, call the information desk at (847) 438-3840.
